Now you can open up a checking account without leaving home!
In addition to being able to open shares and CDs within Online Banking, members can now also open a new checking account. To get started, log in to Online Banking.
In Online Banking
1. Click the 'Products and Services' tab
2. Click the 'Open Additional Accounts' sub-tab
3. Click 'Select' if Checking Account is available
4. Enter the Initial Deposit Amount
5. Click 'Proceed'
Credit Disclosure
6. Review the summary and use the Edit or Delete options if necessary
7. To move forward, you must click “I agree” to the credit disclosure
8. Click 'Next' to proceed
Overdraft Privilege
9. If you would like Overdraft Privilege (ODP) for ATM/Debit, click the disclosure box (is ODP good for me?)
10. Click 'Next' to proceed
Debit Card
11. Choose any or all account holders that a Debit Card should be issued for
12. Click 'Next' to proceed
Funding Information Page
13. Select the appropriate account for the funding source using the drop down
14. Click 'Next' to proceed
Summary & Disclosures
15. Click the disclosures box
16. Click 'Next' to proceed
Pop-Up Confirmation Window
17. Click 'OK' to confirm and finalize opening
Application Message
18. Review the “Application Complete” or “Thank You” section as final confirmation for having successfully completed the application.
