Is my business eligible for membership at Community First Credit Union?
The business headquarters, corporate office or any physical location must be located within our field of membership OR any Responsible Individual must live, work, or attend school in one of the following counties: Baker, Brevard, Broward, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Indian River, Lake, Martin, Nassau, Orange, Palm Beach, Putnam, Seminole, St. Johns, St. Lucie, or Volusia OR any Responsible Individual must be a relative of an existing or eligible Community First Credit Union of Florida member.

How do I open a Business Checking account?
You can open a Checking Account in a branch, over the phone when you call 904.371.8185 or contact us.
What do I need to open a Business Checking account?
To open a Business Checking account, all responsible individuals and any authorized signers must have a valid:
- Social Security number
- Valid, United States Government-issued photo identification (like a driver’s license or passport)
Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, or attends school in one of the following counties: Baker, Brevard, Broward, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Indian River, Lake, Martin, Nassau, Orange, Palm Beach, Putnam, Seminole, St. Johns, St. Lucie, or Volusia. Membership is also open to any relative of an existing or eligible Community First Credit Union of Florida member. We also offer membership to Select Employer Groups, including all employees of Brooks Rehabilitation, miller Electric, and Web.com. New members must open a share account with a minimum $5 initial deposit (share account is required for membership).
1Classic Business Checking: $50 account credit given upon opening Classic Business Checking account. Classic Business Checking requires $5.95 monthly fee, no minimum balance requirement, $100 opening deposit, $0.25 each additional item after 50 free items per month.
2 Premier Business Checking: $100 account credit given upon opening Premier Business Checking account. Premier Business Checking requires a $12.95 monthly fee. Must maintain a $5,000 average monthly balance to avoid monthly fee, $0.25 additional items over the 150 free per month.
3 Connections Business Checking: $200 account credit given upon opening a new Connections Business Checking account. $19.95 monthly fee waived with 25 monthly debit card transactions; or a combined average of $10,000 in business deposit balances (shares, money markets, CDs); or have a combined business loan of at least $50,000. You will be charged $0.25 for each additional item after the 300 free items. Only charge on checks written and deposited.
4Treasury Connections Business Checking: Requirements: $15 monthly maintenance analysis fee. Monthly Maintenance Fees can be offset by the Earnings Credit Rate applied to non-interest earning deposit balance. The Earnings Credit Rate (ECR) is set by Community First Credit Union of Florida and subject to change from time to time. Transactional fees: $0.35 per each additional transaction after 100 free items per month. Review Business Account Fee Schedule for additional fees and earning details.
