Operating system and web browser requirements
Operating Systems
Do you know what operating system (OS) and web browsers you currently use on your desktop and mobile devices? Most computers and phones will notify you if you have an update, and some automatically update for you. Below are a list of operating systems and web browsers that support Online Banking.
Supported Operating Systems (Mobile)
- Android 12.0 or higher
- Apple iOS 15.0 or higher
Supported Web Browsers (Desktop)
- Google Chrome: current version plus the previous two versions supported
- Mozilla Firefox: current version plus the previous two versions supported
- Microsoft Edge: current version plus the previous two versions supported
- Apple Safari: current version plus the previous two versions supported

How to check Android OS version:
- Open Settings
- Tap About Phone
How to update Android OS version:
We recommend that you back up your device before you update your OS. To manually update your device, follow the instructions below.
- Plug in your device, as the update may drain your battery
- Connect your device to Wi-Fi
- Open Settings
- Scroll down and tap the About Device icon (on a tablet, you may need to tap the
- General tab at the top of the screen first)
- Tap Software Update (or Update or System Firmware update depending on OS version) at the top of the menu
- Tap Check for Updates
- Tap Update. If there is an update available, this button will appear at the top of your screen
- Tap Install (Reboot and Install, Install System Software)
How to check Android OS version:
- Open Settings
- Tap About Phone
How to update Android OS version:

How to check Apple OS version on an iPhone:
- Press the Menu button multiple times until the main menu appears
- Scroll to and select Settings > About
- The software version of the device should appear on this screen
- If a message says that an update is available, tap Install Now
How to update Apple OS version on an iPhone:
We recommend that you back up your device before you update your OS. To manually update your device, follow the instructions below.
- Plug your device into power and connect to the Internet with Wi-Fi
- Tap Settings > General > Software Update
- Tap Download and Install. If a message asks to temporarily remove apps because iOS needs more space for the update, tap Continue or Cancel. Later, iOS will reinstall apps that it removed.
- To update now, tap Install
How to identify and update a web browser (Desktop)
Google Chrome
Select the menu icon at the top right of the browser, then select “Settings”. At the bottom of the “Settings” menu, select “About Chrome”. Then, the version will then be displayed.
- Open the Google Chrome browser
- Click the Customize and control Google Chrome button (icon has three vertical dots) in the upper right corner of the screen
- In the drop-down menu, select Help then About Google Chrome
- The window that appears will automatically check for updates and show you the current version of Chrome. If an update is available, there will be an option available to install it
Safari
Click on Safari in the browser menu, located at the top of the screen. Choose the option labeled About Safari. A dialog box will now appear containing the browser's version number. The first number, located outside the parenthesis, is the actual version of Safari.
How to update the browser:
- Open the Apple menu and choose App Store
- In the top of the window that appears, click the Updates button
- Find Safari and click Update (or Update All to install all available updates)
Firefox
Select the menu icon at the top right of the browser, then select “Settings”. At the bottom of the “Settings” menu, select “Mozilla”. Next, “About Firefox” and then the version will be displayed.
How to update the browser:
- Open the Firefox browser
- Click the Open menu button (icon has three horizontal lines) in the upper right corner of the screen
- In that menu, click the Open Help Menu button at the bottom
- Select About Firefox
- The window that appears will automatically check for updates and show you the current version of Firefox. If an update is available, there will be an option available to install it
Microsoft Edge
Select the menu icon at the top right of the browser, select “Settings”. At the bottom of the “Settings” menu, the version will be displayed.
How to update the browser:
- Click the Start button.
- Click Settings.
- Select "Updates & Security.
- Click "Windows Update"
- Click "Check for updates" Windows 10 will connect to Microsoft and check for any updates.
Note: If the browser cannot be updated to a newer version, the operating system on your PC may be out of date.
