Community First Cares Foundation
To fund high impact projects that build healthy communities by improving our educational system, enhancing financial literacy and supporting programs that improve the quality of life on the First Coast.
Founded in 2013 by Community First Credit Union, the Community First Cares Foundation was created to support non-profit organizations in Northeast Florida and serves to fund projects that improve financial literacy, education systems, health and wellness and underserved needs.
Through our Kindness Crew donation hours, we’re harnessing the power of community to uplift and support those around us. We live here, work here, and care deeply about making our local community a better place for everyone.
We are here to make change through our donations and partnerships with nonprofits across the First Coast and we're proud that 99% of the funds we raise go directly back into the community.

Community First was founded as a teacher's credit union more than 90 years ago. We know first-hand how profoundly education changes lives and wellbeing. We fund learning initiatives and programs that serve children across all of our communities.
The arts are an integral part of the communities we serve. That's why we give back to organizations that support expression and well-being.
From improving our beaches to youth mental health support programs and regular food donations, we fund organizations that leave a lasting impact in our communities.
