Community First Credit Union Opens New Beachwalk Branch
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., February 12, 2025 – Community First Credit Union announces it has officially opened its newest expansion branch at 525 Beachwalk Shore Drive in St. Johns County. The credit union’s Beachwalk Branch is the credit union’s 23rd branch and its third branch location in St. Johns County. Community First’s full-service Beachwalk location is an outparcel to the retail center at Beachwalk. The location features a 3,150-square-foot full-service lobby and drive-thru, two ATMs (drive-up and walk-up), and Community First’s signature tower feature. Community First purchased the land for the branch in November 2023. The branch was designed by TTV Architects and was built by Auld & White Constructors.
Designed with Community First's modern branch concept, the Beachwalk Branch has an open floor plan, upgraded digital technologies, and a historical mural depicting the history of eastern St. Johns County. The branch will serve the nearly 4,000 Community First members living within five miles of the retail center.

Community First’s new branches enhance member service through updated spaces that provide a modern retail experience. Members can access all financial services at the branch location including banking/checking, loans, mortgages and investment services.
Community First is expanding its branch network across the region with five branches in the works or newly opened. It is currently building a new branch in the town of Callahan which will open this summer. It has also purchased property for future branches in the Treaty Oaks community in St. Johns County, Wildlight in Nassau County and in Green Cove Springs in Clay County.
